About the Gym
Built on tradition.
Sit.Silom opened in 2024 with a simple idea: teach Muay Thai the traditional way, in the middle of Phoenix.
Our Story
That means a lot of time on the fundamentals, coaches who hold pads for you, and a room where beginners and fighters train side by side.
You will find heavy bags, plenty of mat space and people who will help you learn. No experience or fitness level is required to start. We now offer Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu every weekday evening, so students can train complete striking and grappling under one roof.
Our crest was painted on the wall by AZ Art | Phoenix Murals (@mtnmademurals), a reminder of the culture and lineage behind everything we teach.

Muay Thai comes from centuries of Thai culture. We teach the customs along with the technique.
-
Wai Kru
The pre-fight dance that honors your teachers, your gym and the ring. Fighters learn it as part of their training.
-
Mongkol
The sacred headband worn into the ring and removed only by the coach. It carries the gym’s blessing.
-
Prajioud
Armbands worn for protection and luck, often tied by family or teachers before a fight.
